MC Hammer AMAs Performance Makes Waves (VIDEO)
MC Hammer made an impressive comeback during a performance alongside Korean rapper Psy at Sunday's American Music Awards.
The artists surprised their audience with a mash up of Psy's viral hit song "Gangnam Style" and Hammer's 1990s hit "2 Legit 2 Quit."
"Me and my man Psy after our AMA2012 performance tonight #epic," wrote the 50-year-old American rapper on Twitter, along with a photo.

As a result of the performance, social media sites were ablaze with comments from fans.
"You did your thing tonight sir," wrote Will. "MOMENT of the night."
Michael posted, "You guys tore it up! What a nice surprise and a perfect ending to the AMA's! My favorite performance of the night! Awesome!"
"PSY and MC Hammer just made my week," wrote Lola. "I will watch that performance over and over and over again. That was AWESOME!"
"I seriously can't find the words to tell you how happy that just made me," added Melinda. "@MCHammer hits so hard! LOVE HIM!"
An AMA winner Sunday night, Justin Bieber added his thoughts on the performance via Twitter.
"and Hammer killed it. Haha," wrote the 18-year-old.
Winning Favorite Artist of the Year, Bieber beat out Rihanna, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, and Drake for the coveted prize. The 18-year-old also earned Favorite Pop/Rock Artist.
Hammer, or Stanley Burrell, rapidly rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s. He is best known for his song "Can't Touch This."
After his performance alongside Psy, the rapper added his thanks to Twitter.
"Thank you all," wrote MC Hammer. "I do it for you. You inspire me. #SALUTE #Love4thePeople"
"God's Grace Is Sufficient," added the artist. "All Glory to God. #2Legit2Quit"
Sunday's 2012 AMA's also saw performance by Carrie Underwood, Nicki Minaj, Kelly Clarkson, and Taylor Swift, among others.
