Michael Jackson Trial: Son Prince 'Eager' to Testify Against Conrad Murray (PHOTOS)
Michael Jackson’s eldest son Prince is extremely eager to testify at the manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, which begun Tuesday in Los Angeles.
Prince Michael Jackson, 14, was an eyewitness to the scene in the bedroom where his father died in 2009. He and and his sister Paris, 12, were reportedly called into the room by Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray while he was trying to resuscitate their father.
"Dr. Murray summoned Prince to the room when MJ died. Why he did it, is still a question. But that's what Prince will talk about," a source close to the Jackson family told FOX 411's Pop Tart Column.
Murray is accused of administrating a fatal dose of propofol causing Michael Jackson’s death on June 25, 2009.
According to Fox News, the same source said that Michael Jackson’s son Prince is willing to testify against Murray.
“Prince has already been prepped to take the stand and he’s anxious to do so,” said the source. “The family, including the children, wants Murray to pay. This means a lot to them.”
If Murray is convicted, he would lose his medical license and possibly face a four-year prison term.
The trial started yesterday with director and friend Kenny Ortega giving evidence.
