Michael Lohan Baby News Stuns Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan is expecting a new baby with former fiancée Kate Major. The baby news has been announced by a rep for the couple, according to new media reports.
Publicist Gina Rodriguez has said, "I can confirm the pregnancy but cannot give any comment or answer any questions at this time," according to the Daily News.
New photos have emerged to show Major's small baby bump, and according to a TMZ report she is currently still in her first trimester.
The news has stunned Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan, who was not expecting a new sibling. It is still less than a year ago since Lohan's father was arrested due to an alleged domestic violence incident in Florida with Major. That incident was not isolated it seems and it was reported that various incidents took place across two states at that time.
Lohan's 52 year old father pleaded no contest when put before a court in Tampa, and a judge at that time ordered him to stay away from Major and a restraining order was issued. That restraining order was still in place when Major conceived, meaning Lohan's father didn't keep his distance as demanded.
Major is just three years older than Lindsay, which makes the news that much more shocking for the at-times troubled actress. Major, who is just 29, fits into the troubled family well, and was herself arrested in Florida last January on a battery charge against an officer. Prior to that Major was also involved in an incident at Los Angeles International Airport in November. At that time she was said to have gone on a huge alcohol fueled rant and was asked to leave an airplane. That case also involved a battery charge.
According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan, who is just 26 years old herself, has been left stunned by the news.
Lohan herself has been in trouble with the law on numerous occasions in recent years, but over recent months has been pulling her life back together. However, just last month the actress, who is set to play Elizabeth Taylor in a television movie, was hospitalized after being involved in a car crash in Los Angeles.
The "Parent Trap" and "Mean Girls" actress was hospitalized when her Porsche crashed into an 18-wheeler truck, shattering the windows of her vehicle, smashing the bumper and causing her airbag to be released. She has since recovered well.
