Michelle Obama clearly has a favorite when it comes to American fashion designers, as the FLOTUS opted to wear another Jason Wu number during President Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday.
Mrs. Obama, who wore Wu gowns during both of the President's Inauguration balls, is renowned for her elegant yet chic fashion choices. The 49-year-old looked radiant in a sleeveless red organza tweed flounce dress with a black neckline, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The dress, which Mrs. Obama accessorized with an Alexis Bittar brooch, was from Wu's pre-fall 2013 collection.

The dress created buzz on social networking site Twitter and while many loved the look, others were not impressed.
"FLOTUS looks amazing! Looks like a Wu gown, hardly surprised. She always oozes class and sophistication! #SOTU" Jenn. P tweeted.
"Personally, Michelle Obama's Jason Wu red glittery dress was beautiful. But for the State of the Union address? Not so much, inappropriate!" Claudia Maria Alonso tweeted.
"And why do all these news stations keep tweeting about Michelle Obama's dress!? We have a few more important things to worry about..," Rebecca Gaskins tweeted.
Mrs. Obama opted to wear a red floor length gown for the President's Jan. 21 Inauguration ball and Wu, was thrust into the spotlight when the First Lady first began wearing his gowns. The 30-year-old recalled the moment that he learned she had decided to wear one of his gowns for a second time.
"I was still at my studio designing the fall collection that I'm presenting in less than three weeks," Wu told "CBS This Morning." "So I was actually with my team, which was really nice."
"When I saw it, I was just floored," he continued. "I just couldn't believe that she chose me for the second time ... I am so proud of it."
