Mike Tyson Las Vegas Show to be a Knock Out?
Mike Tyson is hoping to knock you out with his new one-man show in Las Vegas.
The former heavyweight champion will star in the show "Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth- Live on Stage" from April 13-18 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. His newest venture will feature live music, video and monologues performed by Tyson about his own life.
His story has been told once already in the 2009 film "Tyson." Tyson's voice throughout the movie was described as "holding you spellbound" by The Los Angeles Times film critic Kenneth Turan. "The result is as gripping as a title fight and as mesmerizing as a conversation with a cobra. You may not be happy with everything said, but you will not be bored."

Tyson described his show as "raw" in an interview with Dan Patrick.
"Nothing will be held back. He's not going to shrink from the problems he's faced and the battles he's fought professionally and personally," said a friend. "It will be unfiltered, and he'll tell it like it is. The project has the full blessing of his wife Lakiha and their family."
While perhaps most well-known for his professional boxing career, Tyson has also built a notable acting range. He appeared on episodes of "Dancing With the Stars" in Argentina and Italy as well as "The Hangover II." It has been reported that he will also guest in the next installation of "The Hangover," which is due in 2013.
His website notes that Tyson is also an entrepreneur, with a short-lived TV series on Animal Planet, clothing company, and iPhone app. Last year he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame along with Sylvester Stallone and Julio Cesar Chavez.
Part of the reason Tyson may be taking to the stage is for money, say critics. In 2010 he revealed his "poverty" on The View. "I'm totally broke. I'm totally destitute and broke. But I have an awesome life; I have an awesome wife who cares about me."
Now he has a new opportunity to win over crowds and prove what he's made of.
