Miley Cyrus Not Dating Justin Bieber: 'I'm Engaged' to Liam Hemsworth
Miley Cyrus recently lashed out at reports suggesting she and Justin Bieber are more than frends, and the singer confirmed that her engagement to Liam Hemsworth is still on.
The "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks" singer, 20, was photographed with Bieber, 19, on two separate occasions in recent days. While gossip sites claimed the pair was seen "flirting" in a nightclub, Cyrus revealed that there is no truth to the rumors.
"I'm engaged!" Cyrus told radio station Hot 99.5 when asked about the photos of her and Bieber. "I'm engaged, that's impossible."
On Sunday Cyrus and the "Boyfriend" singer were photographed partying at Los Angeles hotspot Beacher's Madhouse. Just one day prior viral video footage showed a leopard print Audi R8, allegedly belonging to Bieber, and two Escalades reportedly leaving Cyrus' Los Angeles home. However, a source claims their friendship is "totally innocent."
"Miley was there with friends celebrating her new single and Justin showed up to support her," a source told OMG! Yahoo regarding their night out at Beacher's Madhouse.
"Miley was dancing around and having the best time with all her friends, including Justin," the source added.
In February Cyrus, who began dating Hemsworth in 2009, was hit with reports of a cheating scandal involving the "Hunger Games" star, 23, and actress January Jones, 35. The former Disney star immediately stopped wearing her engagement ring and, while this fueled reports of a split, she maintains they are still engaged.
"We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed," Cyrus -- who began wearing her ring again in recent weeks-- told Elle UK. "But we keep our relationship low-key and don't talk about it anymore."
Hemsworth, who is yet to address the cheating reports, is reportedly being pressured by family members to end his engagement to Cyrus. The Australian actor proposed to Cyrus in 2012.
"They wanted him to end the romance for good," a source previously told Us magazine. "Liam's brothers' had heart-to-hearts with him because they were worried. Each time, he was more receptive."
