MTV Europe Award Winners: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Still Together

Last night's MTV Europe Awards 2011 saw many of music's biggest stars take home numerous awards, coupled with Host Selena Gomez publicly supporting her boyfriend Justin Bieber after rumors of their split circulated.

Justin Bieber won Best Male while Lady Gaga won Best Female. The young star also won Best Pop Act, and performed his new Christmas single "Mistletoe," and old favorite "Never Say Never."

The young star was grateful to his fans for sticking by him for what he called "a lot of crap on the Internet," as he was accused of fathering a child after a Staples Center concert with Mariah Yeater who is seeking child support.

Various news outlets recently reported Gomez split with Bieber upon learning of the fathering allegations. The rumored split fueled speculation that the allegations might be true. However, last night all indications of a split appeared to be false as they arrived hand-in-hand.

Gomez was the night's emcee and performed her hit song "Hit the Lights."

Throughout the night, the young starlet changed her outfit nine times and stunned the crowd with an assortment of dresses.

The other big winner of the night was the always-shocking Lady Gaga. She wore an ensemble of outlandish outfits and took home two awards: Best Song and Best Video for "Born This Way."

"Thank you so much, I love you so much. I'm so grateful. I'm really smiling right now, but I know you can't tell," the singer told the crowd through a strange hat covering her face except for holes for the eyes,” said Lady Gaga at the award’s show.

Bruno Mars performed "Mary You," and won two awards for Best Push and Best New Artist.

Katy Perry won Best Live Act; Linkin Park won Best Rock Band; and, Eminem took home the award for Best Hip-Hop act. Thirty Seconds to Mars brought home two awards for Best Alternative Act and Best World Stage.

There was also a video tribute played for the late singer Amy Winehouse, and Queen closed out the show by winning a Global Icon award before performing "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions."
