NASA Rocket: Most Powerful Ever 'Monster' to Discover How Universe Created

NASA has unveiled plans for its new “monster” rocket on Wednesday, which the space exploration agency hopes to use to find out how the solar system was formed.

The new rocket called the Space Launch System (SLS) is a high powered rocket capable of reaching areas in deep space including the planet of Mars, according to PCmag.com.

“While I was proud to fly on the space shuttle, kids today can now dream of one day walking on Mars,” said Charles Bolden, NASA Administrator and former astronaut in a statement.

Bolden joined with several members of Congress on Wednesday morning to unveil the plans for the new rocket’s design which is capable of carrying the Orion crew vehicle, along with cargo, equipment, and science experiments to Earth’s orbit and beyond, according to NASA.

“This is a great day for NASA, I think for NASA and the nation,” said Bolden at a U.S. senate news conference.

NASA plans to launch the rockets first mission by the year 2017.

The project of building it should run the agency up to $18 billion by that time.

With the use of this new high powered rocket, scientists will be able to learn more about how the solar system was formed, along with finding out the origin of Earth’s water and organics.

They also plan to find a way to sustain life on other planets.

Author, Paul Hutchins recently used images taken from NASA’s Hubble Telescope to prove that the Genesis account of God creating the world was not only faith but fact.

What he discovered by examining images of the Sombrero Galaxy was that stars that had a lower level of maturity were surrounded by clouds of “protoplanetary dust”.

According to the author, the cloud of dust is pulled together by gravity which causes the particles to grow into small rocks at first and create a snowball effect to form a planet as the forces continue to work.

All the dust surrounding the new planet continues to get pulled in.

The author says that God formed the Earth in a similar way in the book of Genesis.

The Earth starts out with no form in the Genesis account which Hutchins attributes to the dust cloud not yet being condensed into a planet, and there was no light because the dust particles shaded out the Sun as the planet was formed.

As Earth matured and the dust continued to be pulled in by gravity forming a planet, the Sun, which Hutchins believes the original Hebrew text reveals to have already existed before Earth, became visible and “there was light.”

Perhaps with NASA’s new rocket, scientists will be able to further explore this theory.
