NBA Finals 2012: Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Live Online Stream, Where to Watch
The 2012 NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder will get underway Tuesday night. Game 1 will be hosted by the Thunder and will be shown live from 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
The best of seven game series will tip off with a home tie for the Thunder, and Oklahoma will look to make their home advantage count and take an early lead in the series.
The Heat defeated the Celtics 101-88 in Game 7 to make it through to face the Thunder. They have been inspired by LeBron James in recent games and throughout the season, however, and they will be hoping he stays on form tonight to turn the game in their favor. James is averaging 30.8 points and 9.6 rebounds.
Statistics show that James is a big game player, and he has increased his scoring and rebounding average in every round this postseason. He and the Heat will be hoping that run of form can continue tonight to see off the threat from the Thunder. James has averaged 33.6 points and 11 rebounds in the Eastern Conference final.
Meanwhile, the Thunder made it through to the NBA 2012 finals by defeating the Spurs in the Western Conference final.
Kevin Durant has been the main man for the Thunder, and has been in inspiring form throughout the postseason. Durant, the NBA scoring champion, has averaged 27.8 points throughout the postseason so far, and will be looking to bring that fantastic form into tonight's games against the Heat. Another stand out star for the Thunder this year has been Russell Westbrook, who has been averaging 21.7 points for Oklahoma City.
