The preview version was originally only made available for the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 Wi-Fi. Google has taken the first step towards getting this software running on other devices. The company might also begin offering preview images for more Nexus devices in the near future. This includes the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (2012) Wi-Fi and LTE, Nexus 7 LTE and Nexus 10.

Those running the Android L Developers preview on the Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 can root the devices using a pre-existing method.

A new modified version of the SuperSU was released this week that can Root Android L successfully. Many users have tested this version and claim it works well. Users will need custom recovery to install the new SuperSU. More info on it can be found here.

A new yellow version of the Nexus 5 smartphone is now available on the Google Play site.

The company has altered its listing of the device to include the new color. It also comes in black, white and red.

"Nexus 5 is precision-built from strong materials, and the intelligently simple design showcases more of what matters to you," read the listing. "It's the most powerful Nexus phone yet – and it comes in black, white, red, and yellow."
