Nexus 5 Red Version Picture Leaked, Could Hit the Market Soon
A red version of the Nexus 5 could be available in the market soon.
A Vietnamese retailer recently published an image that shows this new version of the Google smartphone. It is said to be a sample unit that was obtained by the Vietnamese online store MaiNguyen.com. It is rumored to hit the market in late Feb. or March 2014. A yellow model is also rumored to be introduced.
Well known Android developer Paul O'Brien weighed in on some of these leaks and stated that the colors seen in the pictures are different from that actual options that will be released.

"Nexus 5 coloured version leaks are nowhere near representative of the colours of the actual products," he tweeted earlier this week. "Bad 'shops. Surprises to come."
Cases for the Nexus 5 smartphone and Nexus 7 tablet are now on sale in the Google Play store for 25 percent less than their normal price.
This deal will be available for a limited time and can be used on the Nexus 7 sleeve and folio as well as the Nexus 5 bumper case and LG Quickcover for the handset. These accessories are normally priced pretty high so a 25 percent off discount is significant.
There is no word on when this promotion will end so those who are interested should act fast.
Google launched the Nexus 5 at the end of last year. Specifications on the device include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor running at up to 2.3GHz, a 4.96-inch LCD 1080p display, 2GB RAM, Adreno 330 GPU, 16 or 32GB internal memory, a 2300 mAh battery and an 8-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization. It is also one of the first devices to run Google's latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
