The 32GB Nexus 7 2013 model price has been dropped to $239 through the online retailer Newegg.com.

There are also deals on the 16GB Nexus model with Amazon selling the device for $218.67. Newegg offers it at its regular price.

The Nexus 7 was released shortly before the summer of this year and introduced Android 4.3 JellyBean to the market. It features impressive specs including a 7-inch 1920x1200 HD display, 2GB RAM, a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 16/32GB of internal storage, built-in wireless charging, and a 5-megapixel rear camera.

Other Google devices such as the Nexus 10 price have been discounted by $50 through Staples.

The retailer is slashing prices on all of its slates for users who enter the coupon code 24373 into the system. This will give customers $50 off tablets such as the Nexus 7 2012, Nexus 7 2013 and the Nexus 10. The promotion is only available on devices that cost $149 and more.

However, those interested in using the discount on the new Nexus 7 should shop elsewhere as the tablet is currently out of stock through Staples.

Other tablets such as the Galaxy Tab 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 are also included in the deal, although Android Authority claims to have had issues using the code on the Tab 3. Tablets are sure to be a hot commodity this holiday shopping season, which is why various retailers have ran specials like this.
