Nick Lachey Releases Album of Lullabies (PHOTO)
Nick Lachey's life has changed significantly in the past few years, and now the former boy band heartthrob has released a new CD for babies. The new father has just released a CD of lullabies with a new photo of his son on the album's cover.
The album will feature traditional lullabies such as "You Are My Sunshine" and "Brahms Lullaby," according to the Associated Press. Of course, Lachey wrote many of the tracks in honor of his new son, Camden, who was born last September.
Lachey has a history of being in the entertainment industry. He and brother Drew performed with their friends in the 1990s boy band 98 Degrees. The group enjoyed several years of success but had to contend with more well-known groups such as N'SYNC and the Backstreet Boys.
The group is reuniting for a new album, "2.0" that will be released in May. It's the first time the group has been together since August 2012, when they performed at the Mixtape Festival in Pennsylvania.
Lachey also has a history on TV; his marriage to Jessica Simpson played out in front of American audiences. The two allowed cameras into every aspect of their lives for two years until their marriage began to fall apart. After the separation, Lachey released two albums, "SoulO" and "What's Left of Me."
Vanessa Minnillo actually starred in the music video for "What's Left of Me" and they began dating soon after working together. In 2010, they announced that they were actually engaged.
"We're excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together," the couple said in an announced statement.
Lachey then took to Twitter to personally announce the engagement.
"Hey all. If anyone's heard the rumors of my engagement, they are absolutely true! Vanessa and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for all the love," Lachey tweeted.
The couple married in a private ceremony in 2011 and welcomed baby Camden John Lachey the following year. Now, with two new CDs being released, the Lachey family has something else to be excited about.
"A Father's Lullaby" will be released online on March 13.
