Niki Taylor got her break modeling for Cover Girl Cosmetics. In 1995, she lost her younger sister Krissy. It was a blow for the Taylor family, but Niki has continued on and is now the mother of four children.

She married Burney Lamar and they have 16-year-old twins and a two-year-old, and in November the couple welcomed their fourth child. Taylor herself has two sisters.

Taylor is known for being an international supermodel. But she is also dedicated to several charities, including Mercy Ministries. The organization is based in the United States and focuses on providing help to young women suffering from issues including: physical and sexual abuse, depression, and self-harm.

Mercy Ministries states that it is “a free-of-charge, biblically-based program.” It works with young women of all socio-economic backgrounds in order to provide healing and hope.

Taylor also supports the Victory Junction organization, which “provides life-changing experiences for kids with chronic medical conditions or serious illness.”

Junction is a partner of the NASCAR racing crew, which her husband formerly worked for.

Taylor describes herself as “real, simple and alive.” The Image Alliance group, creators of “Having It All” say that she is the ideal host for their show since she, in fact, juggles her own working and home life.
