Nokia Lumia 720 and 520 Specifications Leaked
Nokia is expected to launch the Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 sometime this year and the specifications for both of these smartphones leaked onto the internet this week.
The devices are expected to be unveiled during this year's Mobile World Congress and are the successors to the Lumia 710 and 510.
The Lumia 720 features the codename "Zeal" and will pack a 4.3-inch ClearBlack display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 6-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front shooter. These specifications were leaked by an anonymous tipster and were reported by My Nokia Blog.
The site also released the specifications for the Lumia 520. The handset will feature a 4-inch Super Sensitive screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and a 5-megapixel rear camera. This device will not have a front camera and will go by the codename "Fame."
Nokianesia claims both of these handsets will be available in the second quarter of 2013.
Nokia is also expected to launch the Lumia 620 smartphone in India during the third week of February. The device is expected to cost around $280.
Nokia chooses the numbers for its devices based off its capabilities. The 5 series will be the company's most economically priced and the 9 series will be Nokia's high-end devices. When the number is followed by a 10, it indicates that the device will run Windows Phone 7.5 or 7.8 and when it is followed by a 20, it is a Windows Phone 8 device.
The Nokia Lumia 510 is currently available in India for about $186 so the device's successor might cost in between $220 and $240.The estimated price for the 720 is expected to be between $280 and $400.
