N'Sync 'Upset' About Shortened Reunion?

N'Sync reunited for the first time in 11 years over the weekend at the 2013 Video Music Awards, much to the celebration of millions of fans.

However, reports Monday indicate that members of the former boy band are not as happy about the reunion; "upset" that only one N'Sync song was performed.

During Sunday's awards show, his N'Sync band mates J.C. Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick all briefly joined Justin Timberlake onstage after the singer earned the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for his solo career.

The quintet quickly performed a condensed version of their hit song "Bye, Bye, Bye" before Timberlake was left to his 15-minute solo set.

As a result, other N'Sync members were disappointed that Timberlake did not extend the group's reunion performance.

"They were pushing for more," said an insider, according to Us Weekly. "While [Timberlake] was thrilled they could come for him, he didn't want the reunion to be the whole thing."

Furthermore, Timberlake's band mates originally thought older N'Sync hits, such as "Tearin' Up My Heart" or "It's Gonna Be Me," were on the set list.

"They originally were told that it was going to be more of their old hits, not just Bye Bye Bye, but then Justin reworked it," the source added.

However brief, N'Sync members were still happy to join Timberlake at the VMA's.

"They loved being all back together. It felt like the old days," the source explained.

Furthermore, N'Sync's reunion had social media sites ablaze with excited viewers, and Timberlake attributed his Video Vanguard Award to his time with the boy band.

"Half of the Moonmen I ever won, I won with [N'Sync]," said the singer during his acceptance speech on Sunday. "I'm going to share this with them."

Following the awards ceremony in New York City, artists such as Timberlake, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna and Drake gathered at a slew of after parties.
