'Once Upon a Time' Picks Up Cast Member from 'Wonderland'

Fans of "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" will be thrilled to know that lead star Michael Socha, who portrays the Knave of Hearts, will be transporting to Storybrooke and "Once Upon a Time" next season.

"Wonderland" wraps up tomorrow night, with the final episode of the series. ABC decided not to renew the series, which is a spin-off of the original "Once Upon a Time." However, one very popular character, the Knave of Hearts – aka Will Scarlet – will be moving to the original series as a regular, staring next season. Right now Socha is the only one making the move from one series to the other, but it's possible that more names could be added to the "Once Upon a Time" cast list after the series finale of "Wonderland."

"Wonderland" never gained the following that "Once" did, so producers decided to end their time in "Wonderland" after only one season. Yet there was public interest in Socha and his character. Of course, it remains to be seen how Socha's character will be integrated into life in Storybrooke. It was revealed earlier this season on "Wonderland" that he had lived in Storybrooke and still had an apartment there.

It's possible that Socha could be another love interest for lead Jennifer Morrison, who plays the "savior" Emma Swan. He could duke it out with Hook for her affection now that Neal is dead and gone. However, producers have said that they will let the residents of Storybrooke, along with fans, grieve for the loss of Neal before moving on and bringing the Knave to town.

"The aftershocks of that will be felt for some time amongst our characters and how they deal with all the things going on," producer Adam Horowitz told The Hollywood Reporter. "We want to deal with it in a real way and let our characters and our audience mourn the character."

"Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" airs its final episode Thursday, April 3 on ABC.
