Paltrow Elimination Diet: Gwyneth Paltrow Releases New Diet Recipe Cookbook (VIDEO)

Gwyneth Paltrow's new cookery book will be based on the elimination diet, which she claims helped her shed lots of weight as well as feel more energetic at the same time.

In 2012 Paltrow released her first cookbook, which was written on her childhood experiences cooking with her father - filmmaker Bruce.

She has now confirmed that she is planning a follow up cookbook based on the "elimination diet."

The new book will be released on April 2, and is titled: "It's All Good: Delicious, Easy, Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great."

The book will offer 185 "restorative" dishes, offering dishes that are sugar-free, vegetarian, non-alcoholic and wheat-free, to correspond with the unique elimination diet plan.

Paltrow was prescribed the elimination diet by her doctor when she complained that she felt fatigued and faint, as well as anemic, stressed and vitamin D-deficient.

The book's promotional material states: "After changing her diet, Paltrow healed totally, felt more energetic and looked great."

The new book will be published as both an ebook and hardcover by publishing house Hachette Book Group.

Some of the recipes Paltrow fans can look forward to in the book include dishes such as Hummus Tartine with Scallion-Mint Pesto, Salmon Burgers with Pickled Ginger, Power Brownies, as well as what should be popular, Banana Ice Cream.

Paltrow has had an eventful few months; the actress and her two children joined Jay-Z and Coldplay on stage during their Barclays Center concert on New Years Eve, and danced before the large crowd.

The actress was invited on stage by 43-year-old Jay-Z to join her husband, Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin as were the couple's children Apple, eight, and Moses, six.
