Patricia Medina Dies at 92
British-born actress Patricia Medina died in Los Angeles, Calif. Saturday at the age of 92.
She died at Barlow Respiratory Hospital after a long battle against ailing health, according to Meredith Silverbach, a close friend, as reported by The L.A. Times.
"She was a stunning woman," said Silverbach. "In her youth, they called her 'the most beautiful face in England.'"

Medina began her acting career in the U.K. during the 1930s before marrying "The Adventures of Robin Hood" television star Richard Greene.
The petite, brunette actress arrived in Hollywood and went on to appear as the lead in movies such as "The Lady and the Bandit" and "Sangaree" with Fernando Lamas. Her dark beauty often led to melodramatic films such as "The Black Knight" and "Stranger at My Door."
Medina is perhaps best known for her role in Orson Wells' thriller "Mr. Arkadin." She also appeared in the comedy "Francis."
In 1951 Medina and Greene divorced and remarried nine years later. In a ceremony that took place at the home of producer David O. Selznick and Jennifer Jones, Medina wed actor Joseph Cotton, who starred in the 1941 hit "Citizen Kane."
Cotton, who received a Venice Film Festival Award for Best Actor his role in "Portrait of Jennie," died of pneumonia as a result of throat cancer in 1994. In 2009, he was portrayed in the film "Me and Orson Welles" by James Tupper.
Although Medina's success was prevalent in the '50s, it tapered off toward the end of the decade. Medina and her husband toured together while appearing in many Broadway plays, including "Calculated Risk."
In 1998, the actress penned an autobiography entitled "Laid Back in Hollywood: Remembering." Medina remained in Westwood, California until her death. She has no immediate survivors.
