Pippa Middleton Is Not Engaged, Says Insider
Pippa Middleton may not actually be engaged to Nico Jackson with a source disputing the report this week.
The little sister of Kate Middleton supposedly got engaged to her boyfriend of over a year during a trip to India earlier this month.
However, an insider denied the engagement, saying "it's not true," according to People.com.
Jackson, an English banker, had supposedly proposed to Middleton during their early December trip to India's five-star resort Oberoi Amarvilas, according to sources at Us Weekly.
"It was exactly how he planned it," a source explained. "Very romantic and grand!"
Although the report appears to be false, Middleton and her beau are frequently photographed together and clearly enamored with one another.
This was not the first time Middleton and her boyfriend faced reports of an upcoming wedding; the pair have been together for 15 months and made headlines in September about a possible engagement.
The 30-year-old sibling of royalty also fanned the flames of engagement rumors with a column posted to The Telegraph about how to pick a bouquet with the mention of her own wedding.
"Much like buying a Christmas tree at a nursery, the picking and pruning are part of the enjoyment," she penned. "Next stop, a flower-arranging course. Maybe I'll be a DIY (do-it-yourself) bride?"
Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge's little sister is known for her athleticism. Earlier this year, Middleton shared secrets to staying fit in a column posted to the Daily Telegraph about boxing.
The party-planner wrote that boxing is great for "toning up arms, bums and tums, and banishing bingo wings, back fat and booze blubber."
She also described the sport as "pure but pleasing agony."
However, Middleton caught flak for writing a comment in the article describing a boxing club in South London as "dingy… not the sort I was familiar with: no VIP areas here."
Some readers accused Middleton of being an elitist, but others praised her honesty.
