Possible Suspect and Vehicle Found in Santa Monica Shooting

A day after the shooting in Santa Monica, Calif., the police now have a lead in a suspect and a vehicle of the other shooter and believe the suspect to be driving a blue Infiniti.

The suspect walked up to two men standing in an alley when he opened fire. He then ran into a car and headed westbound.

The victims are believed to be between 25 and 35 years-old, according to The LA Times. It is unknown whether the shooting is gang-related and has nothing to do with Friday's school shooting.

This is the third shooting in Santa Monica in five days.

Last Friday, one suspect was arrested in a Santa Monica school shooting after they found him hiding in the school's library, but police also revealed to CNN that there may have been more than one shooter.

Santa Monica police said the gunman was among those wounded and that the full extent of the injuries was not immediately known.

The shooting took place near where President Obama was making an appearance at a fundraiser. The school, however, is several miles from where President Obama was appearing at a fundraiser and apparently not related to his visit.

The Secret Service revealed that they were aware of the shooting but that it did not pose a threat to the President and that it would not alter his schedule.

Police told KNX-AM radio that witnesses reported to the California Highway Patrol that a gunman with one weapon began shooting randomly at traffic just before noon local time across from the two-year college. It is not yet clear what prompted the gunfire.

Sunday a cyclist was also shot when a car rolled up to him biking.
