PS4 European Launch to Include 18 Entertainment Apps, 7 More Than U.S. Release
The PlayStation 4 will launch with 18 entertainment apps in Europe on Nov. 29.
This announcement was confirmed on Sony's PlayStation Blog EU, which also states these apps will be included even if the user does not have a PlayStation Plus subscription.
According to the blog post by SCEE's Fred Dutton, this will also apply to South Africa and Australia.

Australia and New Zealand will get Quickflix on Dec. 4. Also, 20 additional apps including Filmo TV, Game One, MUBI, and TuneIN will be added between the launch and 2014, Polygon reported.

In North America, the PS4 only launched with 11 entertainment apps, but more are on their way.
Sony overall sold more than 1 million PS4 units on its launch day in the U.S. and Canada alone.
"PS4 has sold through over 1 million units with the 24 hours of the launch in North America!!! :D," Sony President of Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida announced on Twitter.
