Randy Jackson Reveals Details of Michael Jackson Family Drama
Randy Jackson, the brother of the late Michael Jackson, recently opened up to the Rev. Al Sharpton about his family's public feud in an attempt to set correct the rumors.
Randy, the youngest Jackson brother, recently spoke to Sharpton on MSNBC's "Politics Nation" and detailed why various media outlets were reporting about a family feud taking place. After a video was released showing Janet Jackson getting in an altercation with Jackson's 14-year-old daughter, Paris, some reports suggested that the singer had been violent with her niece.
However, Jackson explained the situation to Sharpton on Tuesday.

"We did go to the home to let Paris and Prince know that they can visit with or talk to their grandmother at any time. We felt someone was trying to twist the story and make it as though someone was denying access to their grandmother," Jackson told Sharpton. "When we [get] there we were denied access by security and Trent and that never happened. This is all an effort to deflect the attention away from the letter asking for the resignation of John Branca and John McClain."
John Branca and John McClain are the executors of Michael Jackson's estate and who Randy and his family believe have not acted appropriately. While Branca and McClain claim that Jackson signed his will in California on July 7, 2002, the family questioned the men since Sharpton made an appearance with the late pop star on that exact date in New York City.
"We feel there is criminal misconduct on their part and that my brother Michael was not where they said he was on the date that he signed the will," Jackson told Sharpton.
While the Jackson siblings recently came together to write a letter alleging that the will was fake, some questioned their motivation for doing so since the only people included in the legal document were the family matriarch Katherine Jackson and the late singer's three children. However, Randy denied that he and his siblings were calling out the executors for monetary gain.
"This is not about money for us as a family. This is not about being left out of a will or a fight for the children," Jackson told Sharpton. "This family is united to right a wrong. There are questions that need to be answered."
After the Jackson clan wrote a letter questioning the executors of the estate, the family matriarch was reported missing. While Jermaine Jackson insisted that she was resting with her eldest daughter under doctor's orders in Arizona, Paris Jackson took to Twitter to speak out about not being able to see her grandmother in over a week.
The executors of the estate also commented on the matter in a statement to the media.
"We are concerned that we do what we can to protect them from undue influences, bullying, greed, and other unfortunate circumstances," the statement from Branca and McClain read.
However, Randy insisted that the executors were only trying to pit the children of the late singer against their family.
"The executors of the state are using the children to try and put pressure on my mom to try and come out to say things in their favor," Jackson told Sharpton. "They know that they've been caught, they've falsified a document."
Despite the family drama unfolding in the media, Randy maintained that the Jacksons were making one another a priority while trying to remain united.
"We are family first," Jackson said. "I want everyone to know that."
