Rayven Symone a Lesbian? Actress Speaks Out About Alternative Lifestyle
Raven Symone, 26-year-old actress who is currently performing in "Sister Act" on Broadway, has recently spoken out against rumors that she is a lesbian and dating "America's Next Top Model" contestant AzMarie Livingston.
Symone took to her Twitter social media account to speak about the National Enquirer's claims that she was living an alternative lifestyle.
"I'm living my personal life the way I'm happiest," she tweeted. "I'm not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I'm dating and I shall not start now. My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm dating to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."

The actress' Twitter comment came days after the National Enquirer speculated about the her sexual orientation and resulting lifestyle changes.
"Raven has lost almost 30 pounds, has done a whole image makeover, and now she is the star of 'Sister Act' on Broadway," sources reportedly told the publication. "She's at a point now where she doesn't care what her family thinks, and she's in love with AzMarie. She's a lesbian and wants to live that way."
Still, the Symone insisted that it is her right to live the way she chooses and would not continue to put her personal life on display.
"However that is my right as a human being whether straight or gay. To tell or not to tell. As long as I'm not harming anyone," she tweeted. "I am a light being made from love. And my career is the only thing I would like to put on display, not my personal life. Kisses!"
The actress is currently starring in the Broadway adaptation of "Sister Act," which she began in March. Last month, she told The Huffington Post she was happy with her life and the role.
"It's everything that I expected, it's fabulous. I'm having a great time," the actress said. "The cast and crew, we're melding very well together. It's cool to see the audience give us props at the end of the shows and it's cool to be able to be a part of this community for the time that I'm allotted."
