Rihanna Talks Potential Children's Father

Rihanna, the 25-year-old Barbadian pop star, recently opened up about the potential father of her future children.

"One day I will have kids," she told Glamour magazine recently. "I look forward to the day when I'm gonna be a mum. But I'm nowhere close. I don't even have a potential baby daddy!"

This is not Rihanna's first time opening about about her desires to have children. The singer appeared on the cover of Elle U.K. magazine's April 2013 issue where she spoke about the possibilities.

"I will have a child," Rihanna told the publication.

She also appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show last November where she spoke about the possibility of having children in the near future. When DeGeneres inquired about Rihanna's desire to have children the singer responded, "Yes, eventually. I mean absolutely."

While Rihanna said she believed that she had the ability to be a single parent, she did express a desire to have a complete family.

"I would prefer to, you know, have a full family," the singer said. "I'm pretty sure I could handle if I had to on my own but that's not what I'm striving for."

Although Rihanna has famously dated 24-year-old singer-songwriter Chris Brown, who she broke things off with following a domestic dispute in 2009, the two gave things another try earlier this year. After five months of appearing publicly with Brown, Rihanna is single once again.

While E! News reported that Brown and Rihanna split in April, he explained breaking up with Rihanna earlier this summer.

"[Fans have] seen me on and off again with different girls, you know who they are, but right now, as a 24-year-old man, I just choose to be single," Brown told Hollywood Life previously.

Earlier this year, Brown spoke about Rihanna on Australian radio show The Kyle and Jackie Show. Although the singer-songwriter did not detail why the pair had split, he did let it be known that he planned to make other things in his life a priority.

"Imma do it solo," Brown told The Kyle and Jackie Show. "I mean, at the end of the day, shorty doing her own thang, she on the road. It's always gonna be love. I'm a grown man, just gotta fast forward."
