Rihanna Told to 'Get Acquainted With God' by Christian Farmer While Filming New Video

A Christian farmer in Bangor has implied that a scantily-clad Rihanna shooting a video on his land should get to know God better.

Rihanna is well known for her provocative outfits as well as lyrics, and the “Please Don’t Stop the Music” singer donned a red handkerchief bikini while shooting in the grain field.

“I thought it was inappropriate,” explained DUP Alderman Alan Graham of the star who he let use his grain field to film her new music video. “I requested them to stop and they did.”

“I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends,” the Northern Ireland farmer later added. “Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God.”

The 23-year-old singer was filming “We Found Love,” her brand new single.

Clearing up the situation, Graham told BBC, “I did not prevent her video at all. I did not object to her outfit at all, that was an exaggeration.”

Hundreds of people watched as filming took place to catch the impromptu performance by Rihanna. The Irishman explained that most of the shooting took place nearby his property, and that he asked filming to stop once the crew had strayed further from the road.

“From my point of view, it was my land, I have an ethos and I felt it was inappropriate,” Graham told BBC Monday about Rihanna’s outfit.

Graham, the 61-year-old member of the Democratic Unionist Party on North Down Borough council, added, “She understood where I was coming from. We shook hands and parted company on good terms.”

The U.K’s newspaper, Telegraph, reported that Graham had used his tractor to help remove recording equipment from the mud during filming, and also helped will in a hole in the field using straw.

Rihanna is set to release her new album, entitled after her lead single, “We Found Love,” on November 21.
