Sadie Robertson has been an open book when it comes to her love life, but now the reality TV star turned motivational speaker is considering more privacy with matters of the heart.

In an interview with Fox News, the 19-year-old star of the A&E reality show "Duck Dynasty" that recently ended spoke about her transparency with her love life. In the past, Robertson brought fans along for the highs and lows in her relationships on social media, but now she is thinking twice before sharing.

"It always seems like a good idea until the breakups happen, then everything gets awkward," she told Fox News. "When your breakup is trending on Twitter, you know life has gotten weird ... I love being able to relate to girls and be a good example, but I've learned that I have to be patient and really build a solid foundation with myself in my heart before sharing it with the world."

Robertson, who just concluded her stint as the motivational speaker on the Winter Jam 2017 tour where she's spent the last three months, has had to deal with emotional breakups in the spotlight over the past couple of years.

After her two-year relationship with college athlete Blake Coward ended last year, she decided to offer some insight to fans in a YouTube video titled "The Breakup."

"I know it's weird to say, but I want to be an example for y'all in y'alls break-ups, because I know a lot of you are going through the same thing as me — we're both hurting the same way, we both feel that drop in our stomach the same way," she said in the video. "I know exactly how you're feeling."

At the end of her video, the New York Times best-selling author of Live Original: How the Duck Commander Teen Keeps It Real and Stays True to Her Values decided to pray for her audience experiencing a breakup.

"Dear God, I pray for all the broken hearts out there tonight, God. I just pray for each girl out there who is hurting because of a relationship that ended and each guy out there that's hurting because of a relationship that ended, because it's really hard being in this stage of life," Robertson prayed. "But God, we know that we're only put through this because eventually we're going to end up with the right person that you planned for us God. And that we should stop hurting and look to You because You can fill our hearts with peace."
