Sage Stallone Funeral Takes Place Saturday as Mystery Remains Over Death
The funeral for Sage Stallone will take place on Saturday. The body of the 36 year old son of Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone will be laid to rest at a private ceremony attended by just family and close friends.
"Sage will be buried on Saturday. His body was picked up from the coroner by a mortuary that is based in Westwood earlier this week. The funeral will be private and it will be family and friends only and will be celebration of his life," a source has said, according to Radar Online.
Mystery still surrounds the death of Stallone, who was found dead in his Los Angeles home on July 13. Although no pills were found in his apartment, reports have stated that up to 60 giant empty prescription pill bottles were found in his apartment; each capable of holding 500 pills.

Investigators are now searching databases with the batch numbers and serial numbers to find out where the pills were purchased from, which hopefully can shed light on why so many bottles came into his possession. Sources have suggested that it is likely the bottles were shipped in from abroad.
Hollywood actor and action film star Sylvester Stallone has spoken out about his son's death in a statement released to TMZ. In the statement Stallone asks "people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha."
Stallone called his son Sage the "center of our universe" and urged "the speculation and questionable reporting" to stop surrounding his son's death.
It has been confirmed that no suicide note was found, indicating it was not a self-inflicted death, and there has been no evidence and no reason to suspect any foul play in the tragedy.
An initial autopsy on Sage's body was completed on Sunday July 15 but proved inconclusive. The cause of death is not expected to be known for up to two months until the toxicology tests are completed.
