Samsung Galaxy S2 Commercial Mocks Apple Cultists

Samsung released a new advertisement that mocks the “typical iPhone user.”

This commercial shows iPhone fans waiting outside of Apple store locations in cities such as San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Boston and Denver to purchase the new Apple smartphone model.

The ad clearly mocks Apple’s decision to not alter the exterior design of the iPhone 4S with one of the iPhone fans proclaiming, “If it looks the same, how will people know I upgraded?”

Other Apple cultists portrayed in the commercial wonder if the new device will be 4G and worry about its “sketchy battery life” after reading blogs that provide information on the smartphone.

While the anxious fans wait, they notice other people passing the lines carrying the Samsung Galaxy S2.

Then the comparisons begin.

The first screen-to-screen shot appears about 30 seconds in with Samsung boasting its device’s larger display.

Next, some of the Apple loyalists notice the Galaxy S2’s compatibility with 4G networks.

Finally, they see that this impressive smartphone is made by Samsung with one Apple fan saying, “I could never get a Samsung, I’m creative,” with another fellow online telling him, “Dude you’re a barista."

One of the Galaxy S2 users ask the folks waiting outside the Apple store, “Why don’t you just get a 4G phone?”

The war between Android and Apple has officially made its way to television.

Some fans of both companies recently commented on their smartphone preferences to The Christian Post.

“In my opinion Android phones are better, as long as you get a good one,” said Oracle Employee Vincent Falcone to CP, someone who has owned both an iPhone and an Android powered device. “A high end Android is fast and has great visuals. Also Android is more customizable than Apple and makes for a more personalized experience.”

Apple iPhone user Tom Levoyer also commented on Android.

“I never had an android but all I hear are complaints about the battery,” he said to CP.

Falcone defended battery life on Android devices.

“I had worse battery life on my iPhones than I ever did on my Androids. Once again, it is all about the quality of the phone. A higher end will typically have better battery life,” said Falcone.

Samsung boasts the Galaxy S2 as the “iPhone killer” and technology experts, such as CNet, have confirmed it to be one of the finest smartphones on the market.

However, iPhone is still the highest selling handset.
