Samsung Galaxy S3 Screen Protector Surfaces
A screen protector created by Colorant, a South Korean electronics manufacturer, recently surfaced which seemingly reveals the design for the Samsung Galaxy S3's display.
The accessory branded the USG (Ultimate Screen Guard) was developed in Japan, but finished in Korea. The USG does not fit on any other smartphone including the Galaxy S2, HTC One X and the Galaxy Nexus which means that the protector must have been made for a new device such as the Samsung S3.
By looking at the USG, it can be seen that the device it is made for has a display larger than the screen on the Galaxy Nexus. This means the Galaxy S3 could possibly have a display that is around 4.8-inches.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S3 on May 3, at its "Mobile Unpacked" event. The company has sent out invitations to that event which read "Come and meet the next Galaxy."
The company has not confirmed that it will be revealing the S3 at "Mobile Unpacked," however, after a good amount of leaks it is safe to assume that the next-generation Galaxy S device will debut there.
Samsung did confirm that the device will feature a quad-core processor and that it will be named the Galaxy S3, contrary to other rumors stating that the company would choose another name.
