The CyanogenMod 10.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy S4 is now available for Sprint, Verizion and U.S. Cellular customers.
The update also known as nightlies can be installed on the device as a custom ROM. It completely eliminates the build-in Samsung TouchWiz and replaces it with something completely different. The ROM has already been made available on the Samsung Galaxy S4 through other carriers including T-Mobile and AT&T.
The Verizon version comes with a locked bootloader so users will have to deal with that before attempting to install the new ROM.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will launch in Aurora Red exclusively through AT&T.
The carrier is expected to begin offering this color in mid-June. This version will come with 16GB of internal memory. AT&T is also the only company who sells the 32GB S4 variants at this time. Users can pre-order either model on the carrier's online store.
The release date for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will fall somewhere around June 20.
Samsung scheduled an event in London where the device will be unveiled, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal. Other Galaxy and Windows ATIV products will also be introduced on that date.
The publication claims to have received this information from a person with knowledge of the matter. The event will take place at London's Earl's Court exhibition center. Samsung is sure to bring out many new exciting devices there.

The handset in the picture looks almost identical to its big brother, but it has a black body. The specifications are also quite different as the smaller version is less powerful.
Specifications for the device include an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch-focus, and face detection. The smaller version of the flagship is expected to launch shortly the regular version, which was released in April.
