The clip flashes words before the screen that represent different experiences and situations that users of the device might engage in with it. These words point to situations that will be "wet" and rugged since they'll be journeying outdoors.
This video could also point to an Active version of the Galaxy S5 being released alongside a higher-end model. This would keep in step with what Samsung did with the Galaxy S4.
The Galaxy S5 release date is set for mid-March, according to a new report.
One of Samsung's executives confirmed that the company's new flagship smartphone will go on sale in three weeks' time. Samsung will unveil the device at this year's Mobile World Congress on Feb. 24. The handset will be available about two weeks after that.
The Galaxy S5 will feature a 16-megapixel rear shooter that will capture pictures in different sizes from 2.4-megapixels to 16, according to a new report from Sam Mobile. The camera will be able to choose between different ISO levels from ISO100 to ISO800. It will also be able to shoot 4K resolution video at 30fps and will capture footage in 1080p at a full 60fps.
It is expected feature innovative technology known as "side touch" which replaces the physical camera button. The company will use a small sensor at the bottom right of the handset which will be activated with a simple tap. However, it will not be compatible with portrait mode, easy mode or when recording video.
