Solange Knowles Speaking Out About Being Friends With Matthew Knowles' Alleged Child's Mother?
Solange Knowles does not know the woman who is coming forth with a new paternity suit against her father, despite some media reports.
Solange, the 28-year-old singer and daughter of Matthew Knowles who also fathered singer Beyonce, was linked to TaQoya Branscomb in a photograph featured on TMZ. Branscomb recently came forth, claiming that she gave birth to Matthew's child in 2010.
When TMZ obtained a photograph of Solange and TaQoya, rumors swirled that the pair were once friends who partied together and that the latter saw the former's father behind her back. However, Solange's representatives are speaking out against the claims.

"Solange claims she does not know TaQoya, and her rep says the pic is a 'random fan photo,'" TMZ reports.
Branscomb, the 30-year-old lingerie model-turned-real estate agent, has come forth wanting a DNA test, a declaration of paternity and child support according to documents that she filed in the state of Texas, TMZ reports. This is the second woman to come forth claiming that she has a child with Matthew outside of his now defunct marriage to Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles.
While Matthew was married to Beyoncé's mother Tina, he allegedly had an extramarital affair that with a woman named Alexsandra Wright, which resulted in their 3-year-old son named Nixon. Tina filed for divorce in 2010 because of the affair that resulted in pregnancy. Alexsandra's brother Jonathan Wright previously told Radar Online that Matthew owed $24,000 in child support and refused to meet his son last year. However, TMZ reported that Matthew was ordered to pay $12,000 in child support per month before having that reduced to under $3,000 once he was fired as Beyonce's manager.
However, Matthew's representatives spoke out against the claims.
"There have been several media reports [this week] suggesting that Mr. Knowles has a delinquency concerning his child support obligation to Ms. Alexsandra Wright," Mathew's spokesman Ken Harris told S2S magazine last year. "At this point, Mr. Knowles' financial advisers indicate that he is current concerning that obligation.
The outcome of this new paternity suit has yet to be determined.
