South African Free Four Wives Airline Deal: Fourth Wife Flies Free! (PHOTO)
Kulula Airlines is now offering the striking deal of buy three tickets, get one free.
The South African Airline announced the offer on Friday. Of course most deals involve some fine print, and the drawback of this one is that it will be offered to males only, who so happen to have at least four wives. The actual ad reads "Fourth Wife Flies Free."
Families of five or more flying together from Johannesburg to Cape Town are able to cash in on the deal until April 30.
"Not only will you get a great deal on kulula.com flights for your first three wives, but your fourth wife will fly free, mahala, on the house," the advertisement prompted.
The ad seems to be targeting Jacob Zuma, the president of South Africa, who has just wed his fourth wife. Zuma became president in 2007 and has married six different women, but one marriage ended in divorce, and another wife committed suicide.
Zuma married his first wife in 1973, shortly after being released from prison on charges of attempting to overthrow the government. In 2005 Zuma was accused of rape, which temporarily threatened his political career, but the allegations were later dropped. He married his latest wife, Gloria Bongekile Ngema, on April 20.
The airline offer is only available to those who have already purchased tickets from the airline.
"The family must have already bought a kulula.com ticket for all wives and husband," the rules stipulated. "Simply present ticket and proof of marriage and ID at kulula counter before departure. A refund will then be made on the fourth wife's ticket."
Although it is uncertain how many people this deal may benefit, besides perhaps Zuma himself, who was tagged on Facebook with the offer, the airline appears happy that word has gotten out.
"Ah news has spread of our special offer already," the airline wrote on Facebook, posting a news article which advertised the offer.
