Stage 1 At Candlewalk To Host Amy Grant For Second Concert Series

Southern California’s newest family entertainment venue Stage 1 at Candlewalk will be hosting five-time Grammy award-winning artist Amy Grant on August 13th 2005. Located in Corona, CA, the state of the art $14 million facility, which seats 3500, was built by Crossroads church as a way of, “giving back to the community,” as all revenues from Stage 1 performances will go to benefit local non-profit organizations.

“We are a non-denominational church that is creating events bringing the communities of Corona and the Inland Empire together for some fun,” said Crossroads executive pastor Mark Gantt. “By providing a top quality performance venue to the Inland Empire that will also benefit several deserving non-profits in the area, we feel we are truly giving back to the community that has supported us for over 100 years.”

Stage 1 opened this year with a performance on April 17th from country group Lonestar, who donated their concert revenue to the Kids Rock Free Program at the Fender Center for Performing Arts in Corona, followed by Olivia Newton John on April 21 who performed to benefit breast cancer research. Amy Grant’s performance, which will benefit Royal Family Kids Camp, will be the first in Stage 1’s second concert series.
