Taco Bell's Waffle Taco Coming Soon
Taco Bell is reportedly expanding its fast food offerings to include breakfast, and the chain may continue to experiment with tacos made out of waffles.
Earlier this year, the international food chain offered the waffle taco at five Taco Bells in southern California, where they quickly became top-selling items.
As a result of the success, the waffle taco is coming to 100 more Taco Bells across the U.S., according to the Associated Press.

Furthermore, Taco Bell's breakfast menu could be nationwide by sometime next year.
Meanwhile, the waffle taco consists of an upturned, curved waffle filled with scrambled eggs and sausage. It is served with a side of syrup.
The waffle taco will arrive at Taco Bells in Fresno, California; Omaha, Nebraska; and Chattanooga, Tennessee starting on Thursday.
Other Taco Bell breakfast items are already sold at about 850 locations in 10 Western states, according to Yahoo News. Items include a yogurt parfait and oatmeal.
The latest breakfast sandwich trend has not affected just Taco Bell. In recent months, Subway has expanded its menu to include breakfast.
Furthermore, fast food chains have been experimenting with food items that blend breakfast and lunch, such as McDonalds' "After Midnight" offerings.
Also recently popular, Starbucks, Sonic, Dairy Queen and Taco Bell all offer "Happy Hour" specials on drinks and snacks that appeal to customers in late afternoons.
Another trend found in fast food restaurants has been the addition of healthier menu items, such as the sweet potato fries found at Burger King.
At McDonalds, Happy Meals have been tweaked- the portion of French fries has been reduced by more than half and apples were added to the popular meal.
Furthermore, the chain said it would reduce sodium, added sugars, saturated fats and calories across its entire menu by 2020.
As for other unusual offerings such as the waffle taco, Burger King debuted the bacon sundae earlier this year. The treat boasts vanilla ice cream alongside a strip of bacon, drizzled in chocolate and caramel.
