Tamar Braxton Doesn't Want To Attend Events Without Baby, Friend Says
Tamar Braxton, the 36-year-old singer-songwriter, does not want to be involved in events without her child, her good friend LeShawn Daniels says.
Braxton and her music executive husband Vince Herbert had their first child, Logan Vincent Herbert, last June. Now, the couple's famed singer-songwriter friend Daniels said a transformation has taken place within his friends.
"It's crazy. To watch them both interact with the child and it's just unbelievable because we knew this is how it was going to be in the beginning," he told HipHollywood.com recently. "Tamar would say 'we ain't gonna have no kids' Vince would say 'naw we ain't havin' no kids.' I was like 'you wait.'"
Daniels said his friends are not interested in doing things without their child these days.
"If Logan is not involved, you won't see Tamar or Vince," Daniels said. "It's good to watch."
Last year, Braxton admitted that motherhood did not come easy for her after her son Logan was born.
"I guess in a sense, I did feel unattached because I really really wanted to connect with him," Braxton admitted on Good Morning America previously. "I wanted to breastfeed and when he didn't latch on and I couldn't produce milk, I just felt like, 'Is this the wrong child? Am I the wrong mother?'"
While many mothers have experienced Braxton's sentiments, she came forward about why jealousy and confusion set in for her before the joyful motherhood experience.
"I was in shock and it took me a few days to come to terms with the fact that I am a mom and this is my baby. I was questioning my motherhood," she revealed on GMA. "Is this a mistake that God made. Is this something I should hand over to my husband, because he connected with the baby instantly. And I was jealous pretty much."
The new mother later insisted that her baby is nothing short of a blessing from God.
"When he finally latched on [while breastfeeding], I felt like, He got me and I got him and this was all meant to be," she previously said on GMA. "I am very happy. I feel complete. He is the best thing that ever happened to me."
