Tamra Barney of 'Real Housewives' Engaged
Bravo's "Orange County" star has confirmed that she is engaged to her boyfriend Eddie Judge after weeks of rumors.
The couple has been together for two years. The 44-year-old "Real Housewives" cast member has been divorced two times before meeting Judge.
The 39-year-old entrepreneur popped the question while the couple was on a romantic vacation in Bora Bora last month, Us Weekly reported.
"I was shocked," said Barney once Judge offered her a diamond and platinum ring.
Barney is the mother of four children; Ryan Veith, her son from her first marriage, and younger Sidney, Spencer, and Sophia with her second ex-husband, Simon. Once the couple became engaged in Bora Bora, Judge asked Barney again to marry him for her children to see.
"Eddie reproposed to me in front of the children," explained Barney to Us Weekly. "And my answer was, 'Yes, we will marry you!'"
On Twitter Wednesday, the reality star posted, "I'm engaged - I'm engaged… happiest person in the world. It was a [sic] totally surprise and everyone will get to share it with us in June."
Barney posted Bravo TV's official site containing her engagement announcement, and added, "So where do you think we should get married? Italy, Spain, Mexico, Hawaii, Paris? My Baby @eddiejudge loves to travel."
She also included a message about happiness on her account by retweeting Rev Run.
The post said, "U can either make urself happy or make urself sad… The amount of work is the same. #choose!!"
Also this week, on "Real Housewives of Orange County," Barney hosted a St. Patrick's Day special with NBC Universal where she visited an Irish bar.
The reality television star learned how to make a "famous Irish drink," Irish Iced Tear, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Made of vodka, gin, rum, triple sec, and a melon liquor, Barney exclaimed of the drink, "It's all alcohol!"
When asked which "Real Housewives" cast member parties the hardest on St. Patrick's Day, Barney answered, "Probably Gretchen [Rossi]."
Rossi, Barney explained, is "the youngest one and she's still in the party zone while most of us are, 'One drink, that's enough, we're over it.'"
Season 7 of "Real Housewives of Orange County" airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST.
