Target Deals on Xbox 360 and HDTVs Voted Most Satisfying, Poll Says
Target, which will offer Black Friday deals on Xbox 360 consoles, HDTVs, houseware, clothing and more, was voted the most satisfying discount retailer by shoppers in a Harris Poll released Tuesday.
The poll asked 2,500 people earlier this month to compare Target, Walmart and Kmart. The survey found that Target led in all of its scoring standards, which measured shoppers’ image and actual patronage of each retailer.
About two-thirds of Target shoppers are extremely likely to return to the store, the study found, compared with 60 percent of Walmart shoppers and 34 percent of Kmart shoppers.
Target shoppers felt they were valued as a customer more and felt they had a more trustworthy relationship with Target than other retailers.
Overall, more than half of Target shoppers feel satisfied with the store, compared with 37 percent at Walmart, and 24 percent at Kmart.
That said, about 65 percent of those surveyed said they will shop at all three retailers this holiday season.
Aside from customer service, Target does have some good Black Friday and holiday-season deals.

Target will have a Samsung 32-inch LCD HDTV for $277. The retailer will sell an Element 40-inch LCD HDTV for $265 as a doorbuster deal.
A Canon EOS Rebel 12.2 Megapixel Digital Camera will be priced at $100.
