Taylor Swift Introduces Selena Gomez to Austin Mahone After Justin Bieber Split?
Taylor Swift is reportedly determined to help Selena Gomez find love again following her most recent split from Justin Bieber.
The country music singer, 23, is believed to be best friends with Gomez, 20, and while the former Disney star's split from Bieber reportedly occurred just five weeks ago, Swift is allegedly trying to prevent another reconciliation between the pair. Gomez and Bieber, 19, have dated on-and-off for three years, but Swift recently connected the actress with singer Austin Mahone to distract her from Bieber, according to HollywoodLife.com.
"Taylor loves Austin. She thinks he's adorable and knows that Justin is threatened by him. Getting him to hang out with Selena was her idea," a source told HL.

"It's no secret she's not a fan of Justin anymore, so it seems pretty obvious why she'd want to push Austin and Selena together. Plus, Austin is the nicest guy," the insider continued. "He's so genuine — what you see is what you get. He doesn't party, he's humble and he's not taking any of this for granted."
In May, Gomez and Bieber, who have reportedly split various times in recent months over trust issues, were spotted kissing backstage at the Billboard music awards and Swift, who observed the intimate moment, expressed her disgust by sticking her tongue out and looking away.
Friends, including Swift, reportedly expressed disappointment when it was claimed that Gomez and Bieber reconciled in recent weeks and the singer reportedly took these opinions seriously.
"She's finally taken some of their advice to heart and swears it's finally over with him, for good," a source previously told RadarOnline.com regarding friends of Gomez allegedly encouraging her to stay away from Bieber.
"She doesn't see herself getting back together with him and just needs to move on," the source went on.
The Hollywood pair initially split in December following claims that Gomez had difficulty trusting the "Never Say Never" singer.
"The problem in the first place is that Selena was a little bit of a jealous girlfriend and Justin wasn't really taking her feelings into regard," a source said previously. "Justin doesn't see texting other girls as cheating, but he's promised Selena he'll stop if she takes him back."
While break-ups are all too common for Bieber and Gomez, sources insist that this time the "Love You Like a Love Song" singer is genuinely ready to move forward with her life away from Bieber.
