Taylor Swift on Kanye West Drama at VMA's: Offers "Best Jam Ever" in a Jar

Just before this year's MTV Video Music Awards, it appears that Taylor Swift is still seething from the Kanye West incident that took place four years prior.

In what would become an unforgettable incident at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West pulled the microphone away from Swift in mid speech as the singer was accepting the best female video award. Promising her that he was going to let her finish in a minute, he said: "I'm sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time."

Four years later, it appears that Swift still isn't over the stunt. While the singer has been nominated for two awards, one of them for best female video once again, the country star still thought it fitting to joke about her previous encounter with West; Kanye will also be at this year's VMA's and is also slated to perform.

In a gift of homemade jam that Swift offered to her new, opening tour mate Ed Sheeran, Swift joked that she was dishing up the "best jam" ever. Sheeran was also nominated for a video award. To celebrate Swift offered a gift with a card that read:

"Yo Ed - I'm really happy 4 you and I'm gonna let u finish but this is the best JAM OF ALL TIME. -T"

Swift also made a reference to the West incident on her Twitter account, after discovering that she had been nominated for two awards.

"Two VMA nominations!!" Swift tweeted after this year's nominees were announced on July 17. "If you vote and get us one, I promise to keep a firmer grip on the mic this time ;)"

But while some were critical of the singer's sense of humor, it appears that at least some people thought Swift to be funny. Sheeran said in a previous interview with E! News that he appreciated Swift's "dry" with adding that she had "the most English sense of humor."
