Teresa Giudice in Serious Denial: 'You're Not Human,' Says Brother
Joe Gorga accused his sister of being in denial on Sunday in the latest episode of "Real Housewives of New Jersey."
Teresa Giudice and her brother Joe Gorga shared an emotional encounter on Sunday in the latest episode of "Real Houswives of New Jersey."
The reality show is now in its fourth season, and began not far from where it left off, with most of the drama being surrounded by Teresa Giudice. Season three ended with a family portrait as Giudice posed calmly next to her brother Joe.
The beginning of season five however, reverted right back to the troubled relationship between the two. The housewife accused her brother of being an inactive participant shortly after her husband was sent to jail.
It appears that Giudice blames Gorga's wife for his lack of involvement in her and her four children's lives. She was caught trashing Gorga's wife Melissa to her pals, insisting that Melissa was only interested in rich men and that if a "richer man" came along she would leave.
The comment got around to Gorga, who was infuriated. The confrontation began when Gorga approached Giudice with both sets of spouses and kids nearby.
"You're supposed to encourage my marriage, not break it down," Gorga told his sister during an emotional confrontation on the beach that took place as their children- and Giudice's husband Joe- stood nearby.
At that point, Giudice accused her brother of being inactive in her life. Gorga combatively charged that the true reason he had been distant was due to the fact that he had lent the family $25,000 and been paid little thanks.
Later, in a voice-over, Gorga suggested that his sister has lost sight of reality.
"Teresa is in serious denial about life. Life is not perfect. We all have issues," said Gorga in the voice-over. "If you don't have issues, Teresa Giudice serious denial, so be real and I'll be real with you."
