'The Bold and the Beautiful' Casting News and Spoilers: Sean Kenan on Deacon's Return- 'He Can't Ignore the Devil'

"The Bold and the Beautiful" fans are in for an exciting week on the soap opera as Sean Kenan returns as Deacon Sharpe.

Kenan first portrayed Deacon who is described as "ethically challenged" in 2000. However, in 2012, the actor left "B&B" for "General Hospital" where he played A.J. Quartermaine, and Kenan has also appeared on "The Young and the Restless." Since wrapping up his on-and-off-again role on "GH" recently, Kenan is now back to work at "B&B."

"From day one of being back, it was so comfortable and familiar," the actor told Soap Central Live in April. "Everyone was so incredibly welcoming. Everybody from Brad Bell on down. It's a great work environment. I'm really happy to be there."

Kenan's return as Deacon will arrive just in time to throw in wrench into Deacon's ex-girlfriend Brooke Logan's wedding plans. Deacon is also the father of Brooke's daughter, Hope.

"I think he's a guy that definitely has a lot of foibles," Kenan said of his famed character. "He's an ethically challenged guy. There's this little component of him that tries to adhere to this sort of strange code of honor that he's created for himself. He really does want to be a good father to his daughter, but he just can't ignore the devil that's on his shoulder."

"B&B" fans last saw Deacon in 2012 when he tried to help Bill Spencer break up Liam and Hope's marriage because Bill did not want his son with Hope. Now, with Deacon's return scheduled for Friday, June 13, the character will reportedly run into Quinn who is recovering from a rough week including Ridge's unfortunate helicopter accident and Bill and Brooke's ruined wedding plans.

Adding to the drama surrounding Deacon's return, Hope finally chose Liam over Wyatt, ending the love triangle once and for all last week. However, had Deacon never meddled in Hope's relationship she Liam, Hope would have never ended up with Wyatt to begin with, adding another twist to what could ultimately be Hope's decision.
