'The Walking Dead' Season 5 Spoilers: Glen Dies Next Year?
Spoilers for "The Walking Dead" season 5 are already hitting the internet as new rumors point to one of the show's beloved characters being killed off next year.
A notable information leaker for the show named The Spoiling Dead claimed that multiple sources informed them that Glen would die in season 5 and that his final scene has already been filmed. They also discussed other proof of this happening citing a tweet from Alanna Masterson, who plays Tara on the show.
"When someone great is gone," she wrote.
Sources also claim that Steven Yeun had an emotional goodbye with "The Walking Dead" staff after filming wrapped that same night.
"Steven reportedly left set at 2 or right around then. Alanna's tweet was at 1:28. It's said Steven was hugging production members and shaking everyone's hand while leaving," wrote the site.
Another actor from the HBO series "The Wire" will be joining the cast of "The Walking Dead" in season 5.
TheWrap reports that Seth Gilliam, who played Sgt. Ellis Carver from season 1-5, will have a role in the fifth season of the zombie-infested series. He will join fellow Wire alum Chad L. Coleman who plays Tyrese and Larry Gilliard Jr., who plays Bob. The former played the role of Dennis "Cutty" Wise in seasons 3-5 of "The Wire" and the latter played D'Angelo Barksdale in the first and second seasons.
There is no word on what character Gilliam will playing.
Season 5 will feature a more ruthless Rick Grimes, according to Robert Kirkman, who commented on a change for the character shortly before the premiere of this year's season finale.
"This Rick Grimes being pushed to his absolute limit. And if you think you've seen that before, you haven't. And the Rick Grimes that comes out of this is really going to shock people," he said.
