Tiger Woods Says Media Is Annoying
Tiger Woods has said the media was "annoying" as he went through his slump in form over recent years. Woods is finally coming out of his long term lull and is winning again on the PGA Tour. His new success has allowed him to reflect on a troubled time in his life, and he has now come out to admit how difficult the media made his life during that period.
Woods didn't manage to win a tournament from the November 2009 Australian Masters, through to the December 2011 Chevron World Challenge; an astonishing dry spell of two years.
Woods has now come out and said at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., on Tuesday, "I have to deal with it in every single press conference. I have to answer it in post-round interviews—whether it's with you guys or in a live shot [on TV]. You do that for a couple of years, sometimes you guys can be a little annoying."

He was celebrating winning his third PGA Tour event this season.
Woods seems to be slowly picking up momentum with tour victories, but many are still wondering when he will finally be back in the winning groove at a major. The most famous golfer in the world has already got 14 majors to his name, but it's been a long time since he's captured one.
The British Open is now being looked at by critics as a great opportunity for Woods to come back and capture his 15th career major.
Pressure was already being applied to Woods at last month's U.S. Open where he showed some signs that he was getting back to his best. After 36 holes he had surprised many by being tied for the lead, and many were questioning whether he could maintain the push and take the title. However, he again fell into inconsistent rounds and eventually finished in 21st spot after shooting 75 and 73.
Woods has previously shown his annoyance with the media, and in March he lashed out at a reporter who was questioning him on former coach Hank Haney's book.
