Tim Tebow, Carrie Underwood, Justin Bieber Share Christmas Cheer

Christmas Day gave a number of celebrities a reason to tweet holiday cheer to a multitude of fans this season.

Carrie Underwood, 29-year-old country music singer, wanted to remind her followers on Twitter that the reason for the Christmas season was to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

"I hope everyone is having a very merry Christmas Eve," Underwood tweeted on Christmas. "We have so much to be thankful for. Above all, for the birth of Jesus Christ."

Michelle Williams, gospel music singer and actress best known for her stint in R&B singing group Destiny's Child, wanted to remind her followers of the same message.

"Merry Christmas!!!! Jesus betta be the reason for yo' season," 32-year-old Williams tweeted before letting people know that her brother text her the message that she was able to share with fans.

Chad Johnson, free agent NFL agent who had a tough year in his personal and professional life, told his followers about the best way to get blessed on Christmas.

"Merry Christmas to all of u, u might not of gotten everything you wanted but HE'LL give you all need (SIC)," Johnson tweeted. "Be content, blessings will follow."

Fellow NFL player Robert Griffin III, 22-year-old Christian Washington Redskins quarterback, also tweeted a special Christmas message to his fans.

"Give just as much as you receive and create memories that will last forever," Griffin tweeted on Christmas. "Merry Christmas Everybody."

Justin Bieber, 18-year-old Canadian crooner, let his followers know about the importance of loving family and friends while giving back on Christmas.

"Spending time surrounded by friends and family," Bieber let millions of his fans on Twitter know. "It's the holidays. A time for love and giving back! No one can take that away. MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

Tim Tebow, NFL Christian QB who is also vocal about his Christianity, decided to share a scripture with his Twitter followers on Christmas.

"Matthew 1:21 - She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins," Tebow tweeted. "#MerryCHRISTmas"
