Tim Tebow Headphones Revealed, QB Teams With Rapper Ludacris in Vegas
Tim Tebow headphones will soon became a reality, thanks to the Jets quarterback's new partner- Atlanta rapper Ludacris. The NFL player endorsed the new product and revealed it Thursday at the 2013 International CES conference in Las Vegas.
Tim Tebow's headphones are a collaboration with Ludacris' company Soul Electronics, except they are designed for specific situations and types of people. For Tebow, who is constantly working out or in practice, the Combat+ headphones work with noise cancelling and heavy stress.
"I was so interested in having something comfortable I could practice on the field in before games," Tebow told Mashable. "So many headphones can feel good and sound great but when you're warming up, they fall off and that is a big distraction. We came up with these Combat models to help you keep that focus."
In addition to those are the Jet line- "we might change the name," a company spokesman joked, referring to Tebow's likely exit from the New York Jets' roster- which are designed for airplane travel.
Tebow has been promoting his lines of headphones around the country, and Ludacris recently posted a picture to Instagram with the quarterback by his side.
The versatility of Tebow's various headphones seem to be their selling point, as the athlete pointed out. The "something for everyone" sales pitch works even better with Christian quarterback's many fans.
"People who try them out will hopefully believe in them. We have headphones for athletes who want to train and some for those who want to fly or even sleep," Tebow said. "They are even great for moms who are doing the dishes and listening to their country or gospel music. Whoever you are, whatever you are doing, we have something that fits you."
Tebow's SL300 headphones are sweatproof, hingeless, and feature noise cancellation. They are currently available at the Soul Electronics online store for $299.95.
