Tim Tebow Mannequin Benched in Store Window Display (PHOTO)

Tim Tebow and the Jets have received so much criticism that even the dummies are beginning to poke fun. A Twitter photo reveals a Tebow mannequin sitting on the bench, mocking the quarterback's lack of playing time this season.

A new photo making the rounds on the Internet involves a Dick's Sporting Goods window display. The display at Palisades Mall in West Nyack, New York, reveals a group of mannequins dressed in Jets and Giants jerseys. All of the Jets players are standing together with the exception of number 15, Tim Tebow, who is seated at a bench alone holding his hands in his lap.

"I like how the local Dick's store only has Tebow on the bench," Scott Hochenberg originally tweeted, posting a photo of the display window before sharing it with ESPN sports analyst Darren Rovell.

Last month it was rumored that Tim Tebow was hoping to leave the Jets at the end of the season after being passed up for starting quarterback when Mark Sanchez was benched. Sanchez was blamed for having a poor performance and costing the team the playoffs.

"Everything it comes down to is, I believe it's the best decision for our team," Jets head coach Rex Ryan said of his decision to put third line quarterback Greg McElroy in for Sanchez. "That's the only factor that goes into these decisions."

Tebow had a rough end of the year overall and also allegedly split with girlfriend Camilla Belle. Tebow and Belle had been dating for two months, but sources told Us Weekly Magazine that things "just didn't work out." The couple's relationship was first hinted at near the end of October, when the pair was seen bowling in Florida alongside friends.

"They were grabbing kisses and holding hands ... They were having a great time together," a witness allegedly told the magazine during a previous interview.
