Tina Fey 'SNL' Promo Pokes Fun At Fashion Mishap

Tina Fey took aim at her own wardrobe malfunction in the first promotional video for the upcoming season of "Saturday Night Live" this week.

The former writer of "SNL" is returning to the set as a host on Sunday, Sept. 28- just one week after attending the Emmy Awards where she picked up the award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series.

While accepting her Emmy in a form-fitting, halter-top gown, Fey suffered a fashion mishap when the material gapped on her chest, exposing her breast.

Following the mishap, "Tine Fey nip slip" became a trending topic on Twitter.

Instead of being embarrassed of the incident, Fey is channeling the comedy of the wardrobe malfunction.

In the first promo for the 39th season of "SNL," longtime cast member Kenan Thompson joined the actress in a hilarious clip released on Wednesday.

Mocking the attention her wardrobe malfunction garnered, Fey appears topless at the end of the clip.

"There will be no more wardrobe malfunctions like there were at the Emmys," Thompson said of the upcoming premiere.

"No, that's right," Fey replied.

"It's not gonna happen, it's under control," the actress added when her lifted arms reveal bare skin beneath her blazer.

"I forgot my shirt," Fey pitifully noted. Watch the clip " target="_blank">here.

"SNL" season premiere kicks off on FOX at 11:30 p.m. Arcade Fire is the musical guest. It will mark the fourth time Fey has hosted the comedy series.

Although Fey left "SNL" as a cast member in 2006, the 43-year-old actress has maintained a successful acting career on the big screen. The seven-time Emmy Award-winner also received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 2010.

One week after Fey hosts "SNL," the show will feature Cyrus as a host. The singer will also serve as the musical guest on the Oct. 5 episode.

Furthermore, the exciting 39th season of late night show will also see Bruce Willis host. The "Sin City" star will take the stage on Oct. 12 with musical guest Katy Perry.
