Tiny Addresses Ignoring Floyd Mayweather on Red Carpet

Tameka "Tiny" Harris is revealing why she snubbed Floyd Mayweather on the BET Awards red carpet last month.

Mayweather, the 37-year-old boxing champion, got into an altercation with Tiny's husband and rapper Clifford T.I. Harris, 33, in May. After the brawl between the two men and their entourages ensued, Mayweather publicly said it was because T.I. accused him of inappropriately spending time with his wife.

While Mayweather insisted that he and Tiny were nothing more that platonic friends, a number of fans witnessed the boxer trying to get her attention on the BET Awards red carpet last June. However, she walked right past Mayweather as he attempted to call and reach out to her.

Now, Tiny is revealing why she seemed to ignore Mayweather.

"To be honest, I didn't hear him. I was doing an interview and I had my PR in my ear. Anybody who knows me … I cannot do too many things at one time," she said on "The Rickey Smiley Morning Show" recently. "I didn't hear him calling me, but I think that he … was trying to just say, 'What's up?' I didn't know he was reaching."

However, she was shocked by some comments that Mayweather made at a boxing press conference recently. While some accused him of saying he had an inappropriate relationship with T.I.'s wife after the name was brought up, Mayweather later denied the claims.

"I respect (Tiny's) situation and I thinks she's a good person," Mayweather later tweeted. "I would never disrespect a marriage. #Mayhem on September 13th."

Tiny listened to the audio in question from his recent press conference and responded.

"I went back to it because first of all, that is so untrue. I just could not imagine him saying, 'Oh yeah, I did that,'" Tiny told "The Rickey Smiley Morning Show." "I had to go back, put my ear buds on, so I could really, really hear and when he says it, he said, 'He thought,' but when he says it, his mouth is kinda turned to the side … but his mouth is moving. He didn't really say that for real."
